The Rights and Privileges of Voting

Saturday, Sept. 14 at 9 a.m.
College of Health Professions, Room 124
During our time together, we will peruse the history of the rights and privileges of voters in the United States through the lens of Catholic Social Teaching. This will be followed with discernment questions to consider when voting in November. In the spirit of St. Ignatius, our time together is designed to be one of discernment and not a time for debate or discussion. 

Book Club

Sunday, Sept. 15 at 2 p.m.
For all you book lovers, here is a chance to meet other alumni for a lively conversation revolving around a book everyone has read. Book: The Witness for the Prosecution by Agatha Christie.


Law Mentorship Reception

Thursday, Sept. 19, 5-7 p.m.
1Ls will network with Alumni mentors to determine who their chosen mentor will be for the year. Food and refreshments will be provided.


Homecoming

Friday and Saturday, Sept. 27-28
Join in Fall Festival activities as you reconnect with the University through two exciting days filled with food, fun and celebrations. Attendees will enjoy several exciting activities such as awards, presentations, reunions, sports fun, a tailgate, bonfire and so much more.

Detroit Mercy alumni and Student Alumni Leadership Council to learn skills for social and work situations in the office as well as outside networking. There will be two breakout sessions featuring the Women of Stellantis and others about networking and other professional topics from 6-7 p.m. followed by dinner and speakers.
